Krulig Peel (Doctor-administered)
The Krulig Peel was developed by Dr Eduardo Krulig, a plastic surgeon from Venezuela.
It combines a number of well known peeling agents with depigmentation and keratolytic agents. The peel depth can be controlled from superficial to medium-deep.
Generally, this peel assists more severely photo-aged skin that has deep wrinkles. The main indiactions are: skin aging, wrinkles, active acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and sun damage such as solar keratosis and lentigos.
The exfoliation is usually complete within 10 days allowing a relatively quick return to work and it can be used on many parts of the body - typically the face, decolletage, neck and hands.
As a medium-deep peel, the Krulig peel is especially good for scars, wrinkles, melasma, laxity and large pores. It's suited to Asian and dark skin types too.
Amelan M cream may be recommended to patients who have pigmentation problems (it is an additional cost of $250). It is one of the strongest depigmentation agents we have come across.
